Discount Callaway VFT
One of the simplest clubs to work with is the Callaway Hawkeye VFT. Balanced faultlessly, little effort is
required to send the ball far and high. A little difficulty (at first) can be expected for fades,
draws and work shots. The heavy base of the Hawk eye irons aids in averting the occurrence of shots that are too
thin. Even if you just clip the ball you will get a good distance.
Like all Callaway clubs the forgiveness and accuracy of the Hawkeye is in a class by itself. These irons have
titanium club heads packed with VFT technology and perimeter weighting. At times the irons can to feel a
little clunky. A slow compact swing seems to give better results than long full swings. The Tungsten Injected VFT
is so easy to hit with, that it can be used by a novice or intermediate golfers. Whether you are a high or low
handicapper these irons will improve your game significantly. The price tag for a set of 8 steel shafts is $1400
whereas the price for the 8 graphite shaft irons is $1640.
In addition the Hawkeye VFT is also obtainable in woods. Though Callaway has discontinued this club, it is still
available at Callaway’s Golf Pre-Owned stores. The system 60 regular flex shafts gives you predictable shots, so
you know exactly where the ball is going to go. The Hawkeye woods are very lightweight and are best used for
long shots. Despite being an older edition the performance offered is excellent. The VFT Hawkeye woods are more
forgiving than the steel irons and are very solid and durable. Working in its favor, is the affordable price of the
Hawkeye woods.
